Synopsis
This bonus episode flashes back to Shuuichi Natori's teenage years, when a burgeoning yokai-sensing talent draws him into rescuing a possessed classmate, only for the yokai to latch onto him instead. The exorcism that follows brings him into contact with Seiji Matoba, then a rising member of the Matoba exorcist clan, planting the roots of a relationship that runs through the main series. Natsume himself appears only briefly, watching Natori film a scene, by then already juggling acting jobs with exorcism work. Bundled with the Season 7 home release, this special fills in Natori's origin rather than continuing Natsume's own story.
