Chii Nishikata, the middle-school daughter of former teasing rivals Takagi and Nishikata, spends her school days trying to out-tease her seatmate Ooshiro, nagged all the while by the feeling that she has met him somewhere before. Set seven years after her parents' story, this sequel hands the franchise's signature back-and-forth down to the next generation, replaying the same push-and-pull between two classmates who sit side by side. Whether Chii is actually as skilled a teaser as her title claims is very much the question the manga plays with.
