Tsubaki Hibino, a shy top student who has never felt confident about her looks, starts high school seated next to Kyouta Tsubaki, the year's other top-ranked student, a notorious delinquent whose surname happens to be her given name. He teases her from day one and takes her first kiss almost as a dare, but the friction between them slowly gives way to something else. This OVA adapts the opening chapters of the shoujo manga that introduces the mismatched pair.
