Fran Madaraki solves problems with surgery, transplants, and whatever else the equipment in her missing father's mansion can manage, regardless of how the patient feels about the outcome. This sequel picks up with Fran still running her makeshift clinic, assistants Okita and Adorea at hand, as new clients arrive with requests that spiral into the same gruesome, darkly comic territory as the original manga. Her sisters Gavrill and Veronica, built by the same absent surgeon to end lives rather than save them, keep turning up as well.
