High School DxD DX collects short stories originally published in Dragon Magazine that follow Issei Hyoudou and the rest of the Occult Research Club between the main light novel volumes. Each DX volume gathers previously serialized side stories plus at least one new piece, filling in smaller moments and side plots that don't fit the main series' pacing. The first volume's limited edition also bundled an original anime episode on Blu-ray.
