Synopsis
The Etsusa Bridge was a government megaproject abandoned just short of completion between Niigata and Sado Island. What was meant to be a highway instead became an artificial island city with no laws of its own, home to gangs, exiles, and anyone with nowhere else to go. Hayato Inui and Seiichi Kugi open the series on that span, two young men set loose in a lawless sprawl where a volunteer police force, rival organizations, and hardened criminals all share the same crumbling streets. It is set in the same fictional world as Durarara!!, roughly fifteen to twenty years after it.
