Synopsis
When a messenger from the Heavens delivers the gods' decree to Zhao Ge, the Shang king burns it and declares that humanity will no longer serve them. The rebellion ends with the capital in ruins and his son Wu Geng dead. The prince wakes in the body of a blind slave boy and is hauled off with the rest of the Shang to dig in the gods' mines. With the Zhou ruler Wu Jifa marching on the broken Shang under the gods' banner and for his own ends, Wu Geng starts down the path that will turn him into a leader for the slaves around him. This ONA adapts the opening chapters of the Feng Shen Ji manhua.
