Synopsis
Kaoru Hanayama, the scarred yakuza brawler from the Baki manga, gets his own violent side story set in Tokyo's criminal underworld, where he already heads the Hanayama-gumi at nineteen. Away from the main series' tournament arcs, he crosses paths with Ryuuji Tokura, a giant of a man whose agonizing illness turns him into a wrecking ball he cannot control. This gaiden has been on hiatus since 2018, its story left unresolved past that point.
