Synopsis
In 2577, a ship bound for Earth is crippled in a collision, and the four crew members who wake from hibernation find the lookout, Makimura, mummified at his post. Suspicion falls on Kizaki, one of Makimura's rivals for crewmate Nana Ichinomiya's affection, and when the survivors flee in single-seat escape pods, Makimura's pod follows them anyway. The Phoenix, said to grant immortality, watches as jealousy and isolation drive the crew apart. This OVA adapts the Space chapter of the original Phoenix manga.
