Kuroo Hazama, the unlicensed surgeon known as Black Jack, takes on a new run of unusual medical cases in this 2001 web-exclusive anime, one of the first interactive productions of its kind in Japan: viewers click through 'zapping' camera angles and hotspots as scenes play out. Pinoko assists as always, Rock Holmes shares the spotlight, and Honma Joutarou and Nikla fill out the cast, in a version that leans harder on the characters' relationships and backstories than most Black Jack adaptations.
