Tamahome has been reincarnated as ordinary student Taka Sukunami, and his reunion with Miaka Yuuki looks like a happy ending until classmate Ren Shigyou turns their friends against them and an attack drops the couple back into the mystical world of the Four Gods. There, the demon Tenkou has torn away Taka's memories and sealed them piece by piece inside seven scattered jewels, which he must recover before he disappears completely. This second OVA continues directly from the original Fushigi Yuugi OVA.
