At eleven, Kotoko Iwanaga was taken by yokai for two weeks and asked to become their god of wisdom, a human mediator for spirit disputes; she agreed, losing an eye and a leg in the bargain. Six years later, she spends her days settling supernatural grievances and her nights pursuing Kurou Sakuragawa, a university student freshly dumped after running from a kappa and leaving his girlfriend behind. Kotoko suspects there is more to Kurou than a bad breakup, and she means to find out while making him hers.
