Kim Hajin wakes up inside his own unfinished novel, trapped in the body of Kim Chundong, an extra with no role in the story he once wrote. Enrolled at Cube Academy alongside the novel's real protagonists, he uses his knowledge of the plot to survive and grow stronger, even as the world diverges further from what he remembers writing. His uneasy alliance with the other students sours fastest with Chae Nayun, whose trust he loses after her brother's death.
