Synopsis
Two stories and a closing epilogue return to the world of Stargazing Dog through figures the first book only passed by. Futagoboshi follows Chibi, the sickly puppy left behind when Happie was the one chosen, and the woman who takes him in instead. Ittouboshi picks up Tetsuo, the runaway boy who once stole Daddy's wallet, years later, as he rescues a pug headed for the needle and names it Happy. Neither story retells Happie's last road trip; both come back around to what a dog ends up giving the person who keeps it.
