Caiman, a man cursed with a reptile head and no memory of his former life, hunts sorcerers through the grimy streets of Hole alongside his friend Nikaido, who runs a gyoza restaurant called The Hungry Bug. Inside Caiman's jaws lives a mysterious second face that can identify his original curser on contact. When En, the crime boss ruling the sorcerers' world, learns that someone in Hole is killing his people, he dispatches a team of cleaners — Shin and Noi among them — to track the lizard-headed man down.
