Rumi Yokoi, once the girl endlessly distracted in class by her deskmate's over-elaborate games, is now married to Seki Toshinari and raising their two-year-old son Maki, who has inherited every one of his father's habits. This spin-off follows her through the daily puzzle of keeping a toddler who builds tiny, absurd contraptions entertained, occupied, and out of trouble, replaying the original series' desk-side games from a parent's point of view.
