Synopsis
The day after the West Tokyo final, East Tokyo settles its own: Teito High, the region's perennial powerhouse, against Ukumori High, still smarting from the spring-tournament defeat Teito handed them. Ukumori's ace Umemiya is in trouble from the first inning, runners on the corners with nobody out and Teito's biggest bat, Inui, at the plate, while Teito answers with its young ace, Mukai. Whoever wins takes East Tokyo's place at Koshien. This side story runs parallel to Ace of the Diamond Act II.
