Inventor Senbei Norimaki finds an old videotape explaining how to brew a love potion, and the key ingredient turns out to be a tear from Ogre King Gyaska, who lives on remote Wonder Island. Hoping it will win over Midori Yamabuki, he sets off to find him, dragging along his robot daughter Arale Norimaki and the winged toddler Gatchan, whose combination of super strength and zero common sense turns the trip into chaos almost immediately. This 25-minute film was the first Dr. Slump movie, spun off from the TV series rather than a standalone entry point.
