High schooler Kaname Sudou opens an invite to a mobile app called Darwin's Game and is immediately attacked by another player — everyone in the game receives a supernatural ability called a Sigil, and matches are fought to the death in the real world. Kaname's Sigil lets him replicate any weapon he touches, a skill he uses to survive his first encounters and rally a small clan, Sunset Ravens, in his bid to find and defeat the Game Master behind it all.
