Hagino Yuzuru is an ordinary student in Houjou Academy's standard track, until a summer job throws her into the orbit of Kai Renge, star of the school's elite Kyuuka course. Kyuuka students each require a 'Honey,' a regular-track student who serves them in exchange for waived tuition, and when the new term starts, Yuzuru finds herself assigned as Renge's Honey. Bound to an arrangement she never agreed to, she has to navigate Renge's cold, demanding personality while the two are forced into daily proximity.
