Izumi Miyamura already leads a double life in the main Hori-san to Miyamura-kun story, quiet and bookish in class, tattooed and pierced outside it. Running since 2012 as bonus four-panel strips beside the web manga, these omake chapters follow Miyamura, Kyouko Hori, and the rest of their friend group through short gags and side glances that never fit the main plot's pacing. Later installments range further, adding material set decades before and after the central story, including a chapter following Hori's own parents in high school.
