To You in the Far Beyond

どこよりも遠い場所にいる君へ

Kazuki Tsukigase transfers to a high school on remote Saiki Island, hoping to escape everyone who knows him back home. He soon discovers an inlet on the island where people are rumored to vanish, and there he finds an unconscious girl. When she wakes at the local clinic, she gives her name as Nanao but can recall nothing else, apart from a single word she repeats under her breath: 1974. This novel is the original story that the manga later adapted.
