Synopsis
After a landslide breaks the barrier sealing off their family's forbidden mountain, siblings Hinata and Kaoru Misogiya wander into the territory and meet Dara-san, a snake-bodied deity with the upper body of a shrine maiden who has terrified the town for generations as the legendary Yamatagi Madara. Rather than running, the two befriend her, and Dara-san starts turning up at the house for grocery runs, school pickups, and family dinners despite centuries spent isolated as a feared monster.
