Synopsis
Following the events of Versatile Mage's sixth season, Mo Fan and his partner Ling Ling take on a case for the Hunter King: a long-unsolved investigation into a creature called the Red Beast, which parasitizes and strengthens demons from within. What looks like a clean victory over the threat turns out to be only a clone, leaving Mo Fan pulled into a larger scheme the Red Beast has already set in motion around him.
