Synopsis
Mechako leads the Kaiki-gumi, the outfit that ghosts, yokai and other supernatural nuisances answer to, and its trade is inventing eerie legends and giving ordinary people a good scare. Business has faded badly, so she drafts the first recruit she can find: a student reckoned to be about six times more frightened of the supernatural than anyone else. He gets dragged along on patrols and jobs aimed squarely at the things that terrify him, and between his nerves and the group's chronic understaffing, every case turns to chaos.
