Synopsis
Bundled with the first Blu-ray volume of the Knights of Sidonia anime, this twenty-page bonus chapter looks back a century, to the closing days of the Fourth Gauna Defense War aboard the seed ship Sidonia. Ochiai argues that the Gauna are drawn to the Kabizashi and moves to dump the ship's stock of the spears into space; Captain Kobayashi refuses to give them up, and when the Gauna tear into the residential districts it falls to Hiroki Saito to lead the defense. It is a short aside rather than a stand-alone story.
