Tomokui Kanata died in a back alley and woke as the goblin Gobrou, memories intact and carrying an ability called Absorption that hands him the traits of whatever he eats. Eating his way up from the bottom of the food chain earned him a name, a new body and the mercenary band Parabellum. This second series carries Rou out of the lands he has already taken and onto the Dark Continent, opening a new front for a protagonist who grows by swallowing.
