Chisato Nishikigi is the strongest Lycoris agent in Direct Attack, a secret all-girl task force that keeps Japan's peace from the shadows, and she runs a café called LycoReco as its cover. When the efficient but insubordinate Takina Inoue is reassigned to LycoReco after defying orders during a weapons bust, the two start working the café's odd jobs together. Chisato, a pacifist sharpshooter who fires only rubber bullets, soon draws Takina into a fight against the terrorist Majima, who aims to expose DA's existence to the public.
