Ruri Gokou, who answers to Kuroneko, starts high school a year behind Kyousuke Kousaka and spends her first term working out how to be around people who are not him. Kirino has left for athletic training in America, so the household that used to absorb all the noise is quiet, and Kuroneko has to handle her own club, her own classmates and her own feelings without that buffer. This manga follows the light novels from her side rather than Kyousuke's.
