The pilots of IS Academy return in a second official anthology, drawn again by a rotating group of guest artists. Ichika Orimura is still the lone male candidate, still outmatched at home by his sister and instructor Chifuyu, and still sharing a hangar with Houki Shinonono, Cecilia Alcott, Lingyin Huang, Charlotte Dunois and Laura Bodewig. The shorts follow the second anime season's line-up through comedy sketches, seasonal set pieces and quiet character beats rather than any continuing story.
