Friagne, the Crimson Denizen known as the Hunter, and Marianne, the doll who follows him everywhere, run a question box on the terms of Shakugan no Shana. Between them they explain what a Flame Haze is, what happens to a person who becomes a torch, and where Shana and Yuji Sakai fit into it, all in a register closer to a variety show than to the series itself. The three shorts were made for a DVD magazine rather than for broadcast.
