翠星のガルガンティア 外伝・少年と巨人

Before Ledo ever reached the Gargantia fleet he was a cadet, and this light novel goes back to the military academy where the Galactic Alliance of Humankind turns children into machine caliber pilots. Earth is a legend to him, the war against the Hideauze has no visible end, and the academy's lessons in obedience sit badly beside what he picks up from classmates about kindness, spite and wanting things. The boy who walks out of it is already a soldier.
