Velvet Crowe loses her brother Laphicet on the night of the Advent, when Artorius Collbrande takes him for a rite, and she comes out of it with a daemon's arm that devours other daemons. Three years of imprisonment later she gets out and goes after Artorius, who by then has founded the Abbey, put its exorcists across the Midgand Empire, and is being called the man who held back the daemonblight. This manga adapts the Tales of Berseria game.
