Asuto Inamori makes Inazuma Japan for the Football Frontier International, lining up beside Ryouhei Haizaki and playmaker Yuuma Nosaka under coach Zhao Jinyun. Newcomer Mitsuru Ichihoshi joins a squad already under pressure, and the tournament turns out to be shadowed by people willing to decide its results away from the pitch. This season carries on from Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin, taking the same generation of players from school soccer to the international stage.
