A hundred years ago Hoopa's power was sealed inside the Prison Bottle, and the Pokémon came apart in two: the small form travelling with Baraz and Meray toward Dahara City, and a shadow that wants its strength back. Hoopa can pull anything it likes through its rings, which makes the shadow's ambition a problem for everyone nearby. Ash and Pikachu fall in with the group on the road. This manga retells the eighteenth Pokémon film, Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages.
