Hono wakes up as a Chimchar with no memory of ever having been human, and the first Pokémon to take him seriously is a timid Totodile who wants to run an exploration team. The two register as Team Blaze and start taking jobs, which leads them to the stolen Time Gears and a future in which time itself has stopped. This manga follows the story of the Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness games across six chapters.
