Bellri Zenam is a Capital Guard cadet on his first live exercise when an unidentified mobile suit called the G-Self comes at him; he brings it down and finds a space pirate, Aida Surugan, at the controls. The Capital Tower she was raiding is the orbital elevator that feeds Earth its Photon Batteries, and the SU-Cordist faith grown up around it keeps technology on a short leash.
