宇宙戦艦ヤマト

Gamilas planet bombs have poisoned Earth's surface and driven what is left of humanity underground with a year to live. When Iscandar sends word that a device able to scrub the radiation waits 148,000 light years away, Susumu Kodai signs on to the Yamato, a sunken battleship rebuilt as a starship, with Captain Okita setting the course. Leiji Matsumoto drew this run alongside the television series he directed, carrying his own compressed version of the voyage.
