Yuki has spent her entire life as a trained assassin and knows nothing beyond cold efficiency and following orders. When her employer retires, she arrives at the home of high school student Yokoya Hitoyoshi and asks to be hired as a maid. As Yokoya adjusts to sharing his house with a woman who dispatches threats with unsettling calm, Yuki begins the far stranger task of learning what ordinary life looks like.
