Birdy has been dormant inside Tsutomu Senkawa for two years when a chance run-in with an old enemy wakes her violently. Getting back to work puts both of them against Agni, a corporation whose human-enhancement experiments are producing what it calls beast men, meant as weapons against the alien traffic Birdy was sent to police. Masami Yuuki relaunched his own Tetsuwan Birdy here, rebuilding the premise from the start rather than continuing the older serialization.
