Thirteen guest mangaka each build a full short story around the Hidamari Apartments instead of a gag page, so Yuno, Miyako, Hiro and Sae get room for a whole afternoon or a whole assignment at a time. Kinusa Shimotsuki, Megane Otomo and Aki Yurihara are among them. One volume holds the set, and it sits beside Ume Aoki's original four-panel manga without touching its continuity.
