Cardcaptor Sakura

Ten-year-old Sakura Kinomoto accidentally opens a magical book in her father's basement and scatters the Clow Cards across Tomoeda. Cerberus, the book's guardian, emerges and appoints Sakura as Cardcaptor, tasked with recapturing each card before its magic causes harm. Her best friend Tomoyo Daidouji films every capture and designs battle costumes, while rival Syaoran Li, a descendant of the cards' creator Clow Reed, arrives from Hong Kong to claim the cards for himself.
