Dai Miyamoto fought his way up stage by stage across Europe with his tenor saxophone and finally made a name there, then left all of it behind. With a new driver's license in hand, he sets off alone for the United States, the home ground of jazz, landing in Seattle on the West Coast. He learns that Yukinori, a member of his first band, is somewhere in the country too, and starts crossing America city by city in search of a new sound.
