Saki Hyuuga, ace pitcher of her school softball team, and Mai Mishou, who would rather sketch than stargaze, first crossed paths at a mysterious tree during a summer festival five years ago, where they saw two glowing spheres. Back at that tree they meet Flappy and Choppy, spirits of flower and bird from the Land of Fountains, who choose the girls as the new Pretty Cure. Their task is to protect the Seven Fountains from Dark Fall, which is hunting for the last of them. This manga adapts the anime series of the same name.
