Flum Apricot, a country girl chosen by the Church's god Origin to join the hero's party, has zero stats and a single skill, Reversal, that seems useless in battle. The party's sage, Jean Inteige, treats her as dead weight and finally sells her to a slave dealer, whose captives end up as monster bait. Faced with being eaten or taking up a cursed sword, Flum discovers that Reversal turns the weapon's curse into power, and she escapes alongside fellow captive Milkit to start over as an adventurer in the royal capital.
