Wakana Kinme runs Kinme Cleaning, a small laundry in the seaside hot springs town of Atami, where she arrived two years ago with no memory of her life before. She treats every garment brought to her with meticulous care, and the clothes she cleans draw her into the everyday stories of the locals who own them. While her own past stays out of reach, Wakana keeps building a new life around the shop, her neighbors and the town's hot springs.
