Meiko Morita leaves her rural hometown for Tokyo to enroll at the prestigious Amamiya Girls' Academy, expecting a glamorous dormitory. Her new home turns out to be a manga cafe, where the residents live in the booths and run the business in return for having their expenses covered. Hopeless with modern technology, Meiko is warmly welcomed by the others: dorm head Rie Amamiya, popular streamer Marika Suzuki and aspiring pro gamer Neo Nakano. Together the girls juggle school with shifts at the cafe, enjoying every day of their cramped live-in life.
