Dias finally returns home after decades of war, hailed as a hero and rewarded with a domain of his own, which turns out to be nothing but empty grassland. Population: zero. Having only ever known battle, he has no idea how to survive out there, let alone turn the plains into a thriving territory. Then he meets Alna, an onikin girl with a blue horn, who is about to show him that the grasslands hold far more than meets the eye, and his lonely frontier starts to come to life.
