Synopsis
On his twelfth birthday, Shion — an elite student living in the utopian city-state No.6 — shelters a wounded fugitive boy who calls himself Nezumi. The act costs Shion his privileged status, and four years later, when a string of mysterious deaths sweeps the city, Shion is arrested by the authorities. Nezumi rescues him and brings him to the West Block, the lawless district beyond No.6's walls, where Shion confronts the reality the city has been hiding from its citizens.
