A new 10,000-yen banknote featuring Touto Tower goes into circulation, and Conan Edogawa visits the Nagano factory where it is printed, together with the Junior Detective League, Professor Agasa, Ran and Sonoko. Meanwhile, counterfeit bills are found at a murder scene in Tokyo, the Metropolitan Police set up an investigation headquarters, and fake new notes start spreading across the country. Conan and Heiji Hattori head to Osaka, where the counterfeits are believed to have been printed. This TV special marks the thirtieth anniversary of the Detective Conan anime.
